CEI HUNT SEAT EQUITATION TEAM TRYOUTS

Soon CEI will be re-instating its competition team. What will this mean? There will be 4 different sections of tryouts for different parts of the team. Hunt Seat Equitation which will include flat riders AND over fence riders in the hunters, Hunter Undersaddle which will be just our flat riders, Jump Seat which is jumps and courses with the composition and same values as normal hunter over fence classes, but the jumps and combinations are far more difficult and the courses are longer. And finally the traditional Jumpers or show jumping as its known to most of you! Which is not equitation based, but CEI does have a certain way of judging and handling jumper classes that will be reflected in all CEI hosted hangouts, lessons and events!

We will be hosting a few beginner-intermediate hangouts pertaining to these styles of riding prior to any actual tryouts, so people have the best possible chance at succeeding! The tryouts will not be like a competition, there will be no cash prizes nor placements, just a display of skill that will be judged.

Finally, if you were previously on the CEI competition team before organization policy changes, you do have to try out again! We at CEI cannot see what riders come by and make our team lucky with their presence!💗
